My last boat was a lund, it had a big high windshield that was great when things got rough–I often fish a very big lake where heavy wakes and lots of big wind-driven waves make that nice. My new to me 03 Classic has the low-profile windshields. This boat is 25mph faster than my previous one, and the windshields dont seem lie they do much to stop the wind. I havent had it out in any kind of waves yet, but Im also questioning their effectiveness at doing much to counter any spray at low and moderate speeds. I know its not designed to be the same as my Lund, but how much more “protective” from wind and spray are the higher-profile windshields?I also have a fitted aurora cover that appears to be designed for the low-profile windshields. Are the higher windshields enough of a difference that the cover might not fit? Seems like it could be an issue. Thanks, and hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving among friends and family!Dave
