Can you take the passanger console off a newer dual console cat?

Hey guys,I was wondering if you can take the passenger console off of the newer cats to make it a single console boat?Is this possible?Thanks,Greg

I think it depends on which model, but I know for sure you could on my 05 cougar. All of the newer 20ft models im pretty sure you can.

a 2006 should be removable, it will take a little bit of effort and you will still have the hardware or the holes where its bolted to the top cap, but yes a 2006 should be removable.

my 2008 was originally a single and i added the second console, which can be removed however you will have several screw holes to cover upTreat everyday like it might be the last
