Steeler34,While I try to be reasonable, the best thing that could happen would be to get rid of that POS MG. I had one that came new on my 2011 PII. It was so bad MG replaced the unit free of charge. I asked their customer service department, ” why would I want to install another MG unit on my boat with the poor service it has delivered?” The cs rep would not reply. One of my friends that has now purchased two BCB boats on my recommendation would completely agree. Ask Richey Bolton. He has the same story as mine.I fully understand that trolling motors are a dice roll. I lost about $500 in the cost of moving to a Fortrex, but I have never looked back.
