Learn to use the trim to regulate speed and then slowly let off the gas (throttle) and we are suspect that you have a hot foot from your response. The hot foot tendency is to back off the throttle and you should resist this tendency, learning to trim to scrub speed, which keeps the skeg in the water for more control. Learning to let the hull down to slow the rig down. This is very common and one of BCBs objections to hot foot usage as speeds have climbed. It takes more effort to find the trim button than just release your foot. The Teleflex Pro Trim feature is nice, though so is one hand on the throttle with a thumb always near the trim button. It should become second nature in training yourself to slow down. Then you can ease off that throttle much safer.
