Decal install

What GRR884 said, clean, dry, brush, vacuum, then figure out exactly where you want it. Hold it in place with tape if needed, peel off half the backing with the decal lifted off the carpet, cut the backing away, and stick that half down. Lift the other half, pull the backing, and lay the other half. Step on it. Foot pressure will do the job to get it in place. Adhesive is VERY aggressive, so make sure you get it where you want it. You can pull it up, but it wont be easy. When it gets dirty, you can scrub it with a brush and soap to clean it. Pretty durable.

OK, question on here too as may come up for others. I put one on front storage lid of an 02 Classic and it looks great on there. After a year or so edges peeled up pretty bad so just removed it rather than take a chance tripping on it – going to clean real good and want to put it back down. I dont want to have to buy a new one every year. Now, how do I get it to stick down again to the carpet, without having to use some kind of permanent glue? Has to be something I can use that will stick this to the carpet good? Thanks
