I took my regular fishing partner with me. He started drooling the instant he saw it in the dealers lot. After getting to the dock, and waiting for the dealer to come back with a plug, and then come back with life jackets, we got on the water. I took off for my regular fishing holes, and it was an amazing ride. Sooooooo smooth. We passed (head on) a large cabin cruiser, which makes my buddy instinctivley brace for impact (my boat is a little rough, and very light, so I have a few hours of “Flight Time” in it) I have to say it was really easy to handle and control. One big bump and then smooth sailing. 90 and 180 degree holeshots were fast and firm, hockey stops on a dime. I think I could fit my old boat in the storage under that full team deck. What an absolutley incredible machine. I will have to learn to drive better, as the chine walking was new to me. But I could hold seventy and stay out of it. Definatley getting one of these. I am thinking of adding an EZ Tug http://www.eztug.com/ to make it easier to get in and out of my garage. Anyone else out there tried one of those? Note to dealers: Never give two Apache pilots a demo without showing them the manual fuel tank select switch. They will spend 2 hours looking for a button.
