I am looking at purchasing my first Bass Cat and as Ive looked at the Puma and Cougar Im not really sure what the diff is between the boats. Also, what is the diff with the FTD? I have owned a Ranger Z-21 since 05. I blew my back out in 04 so the ride is very important to me. Also, the Z had the extra padding on the deck, is that something I can get with the Bass Cat. I live in Frederick, MD but dont mind having to travel to get a boat. I will not deal with the newest Cat dealer in Thurmont, had too much of their attitude with my Ranger. Thanks for the input.

RichThe difference between all the 20+ footers is from the rub rail up. In the 09 modeled boats they all share the same hull. The FTD models (Puma FTD and Cougar FTD) also have more standard features that the Puma and the Cougar Advantage Elite do not. The best thing to do is find the lay out that fits your needs and then shop it.
