Pantera II No power to master switch

i have a buddy that has a 1995 PII that he just had some work done on his motor . He got the boat back and Now he has no power to his master switch . I took a jumper wire to the Circuit breaker and we have power to the switch then is there a wire that they may have left loose and not connected ???? I looked really hard and could not find one just laying around can anybody help us out with this i know its got to be something simple that we just dont know about . He has a Evinrude 200 Vindicator on it ! ANy help would be greatly appreciated

Is there a small fuse or circuit breaker at the battery? I had this happen on a trip one time and itturned out that a small fuse/breaker at the battery connection had blown. We reset and I have not had a problem since.CC

The power to the master comes from a 12 gauge wire on the main battery, and you should be able to look there. It goes to the terminal black on the transom and then to the switch.

we looked for a wire hanging loose but could not see one anywhere . So im kinda wondering where it could be so if i under stand right the wire goes from Battery to Block then to master switch . all he has on his power Terminal on the battery is one wire so im assuming there should be another one there to ?? I just had that on my Cougar. No power for accessories from the master power switch. I found a wire broken at the terminal on the barrier strip in the back of the boat. While I was at it I replaced the nasty corroded (but still working) 20 amp inline breaker. It was a pain to recconnect the wire after installing a new ring terminal. I poked the screw through a piece of cling wrap and then wraped it around the screw driver so I wouldnt lose the screw down int he bilge. I couldnt find any of my screw holder screw drivers. Thanks for the Response i am thinking that since he just had work done that they forgot to hook the battery back up right . When i looked at the Main battery there is only one Wire on the Positive side which goes to the Motor . So with that in mind it has to be hiding somewhere down there its just hard to turn my old big body the way i need to so i am going to grab my Young son in law and let him bend down in there LOl . The main power feeding the master switch should have a 20 amp breaker at the battery and is a 12ga. red wire. You should atleast have that along with the motor + cable on the + batt. post and there should also be a wire from charger too… Sherm

Thanks we finally found the wire i guess the Workers forgot to hook it back up and they tucked it in under the fuel tank on the back side so he is happy and is going fishing this weekend . thanks for all the Help !!
