I have a 2007 PII, dual console. Currently a Lowrance 520 resides there and it is time to upgrade it. I am staying with Lowrance and would like to know what options I have as well as how others have mounted newer units. Any and all help is definitely appreciated.
Check the Sherm mounts available from Sherms Marine. It covers the existing hole, places the new unit slightly above the steering wheel, and is designed specifically for Bass Cat boats. They have pictures on the webpage.
I have a 2014 Sabre FTD with a Lowrance HDS 10 on a Sherms mount at the console. IMO the Sherms mount is the best option out there. I Love my setup!Dan
I have been to sherms website and that mount does seem like it is the way to go. Does anyone have any imput on a touch Gen 2 HDS 9 vs a Gen 2 HDS 8. I currently have an elite 7 up in the front.
