Fury for 2006 Puma

I have a 225 Pro Xs on a 2006 Puma and have the chance to get a new in the box Fury for 325.00. Couple of questions. Is this a fair price and do you reccomend this prop on this setup? If so what pitch? Thanks and Merry Xmas. RJ

RJ, thats a good price on a Fury, Im running a 24 pitch on my 02 Jag, which I think is the same hull as yours. Ive got to run a 24 due to the altitude up here in Montana. I bet you would be good with either a 25 or 26 pitch Fury on you 225XS. I was running a 25 trophy and like the Fury a little better. I would try the Fury in 1 pitch lower than whatever youre running now. Mike

Ive got a 09 Puma with 225 Pro XS…run a 26 Fury. Can hit 5700 rpms with two people and light load 76+ gps. Two people, 35 gallons of fuel, livewells full…5650 rpms @74+ gps. Rpms are the same summer or winter. If you run a heavy load and arent concerned about trying to keep up with the 250s, the 25 Fury would probably be a better option. My motor is set @ 2 5/8 inches below pad.

I run an 06 Puma w/225 Pro XS. I run a 25P Fury and it is the nuts! That is one cheap price on that prop!

Clint, Wow! I like those numbers !!! I have an 06 puma with a 225proxs and a 26 trophy and I only get about 70 with full load and 5650 rpms. i tried a 25 fury and the hole shot was amazing but i couldnt get any top end speed 65mph and 5000rpms. What plugs are you running and what is your jack plate setup? i woukld love to get that kind of speed.

I am running a 25P Fury on my 06 Puma w/225 Pro XS. Awesome hole shot and getting about 72 MPH alone and 68-70 with two and loaded.

I have a 07 puma 225 pxs and I tried 25/26 and27 trophy, 25 and 26 fury and the 25 fury is the ticket for me, great hole shot and will run 73+ solo with tourny load.

You cant even buy a used Fury for 325. You need a 25 or 26 depending on your setup.

Least expensive new Fury that I could find online is $469.00 with no frieght!!
