shawn my fishing partner just picked up his new puma saturday from sherms and it came with a 26 fury on it. must be the most highly recommended prop for the load. but we will see in a couple of weeks how it handles the big butt load that we put in it…at the OI. see you thereLast edited by macbass.basscatowners on April 6th, 2009, 11:37 am, edited 2 times in total.IF ITS NOT A CAT ITS A DOG BASSCAT BOATS 2001 COUGAR 225 YAMAHA….www.dropshotdennys.com
Most run without plugs at all.
Ill take them out and try it again. Thanks………………….See ya Mac
No plugs. That prop is designed to run right out of the box. Interesting you like it with plugs. Let us know how you like it better, with or without. Ive sold 3 of the 7 props I did own so now Ill have my 26 fury in about a month.
how do the furys ran at slow speeds 35-40?
The handle the entire range well.
I was just getting on to ask the same question. Looks like Ill run with no plugs. Thanks guys.
I took out the PVS plugs, and man did it get out of the whole great. It was good before, but now it just jumps out of the whole with no blow out. Thanks for your help. I definitely love this prop. Cant speak to the TX lakes, YET LOL. As for the Fury it wont come with PVS plugs. I bought some just in case, havent needed them. Have a safe trip!!!
ICEMAN Do not run Toledo if you are not on a boat row or between the red and greens!!!!!! The folks that are running the un-marked water are locals and they know the lake WELL. They do not run and not hit anything by luck….. ElwoodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud
I bought the Boatlane combo for Fork/Sam/Bend a couple of weeks ago. I have only got to use it on Sam and it seems to be a great product. Well worth the $50 imo. Cant speak on the Fork or Bend waypoints yet but from the folks i have talked to everyone is giving it the thumbs up! Buck
I live on the t-bend across from Holly Park on the water and fish it reallll often, but you are right on staying between the lines. I fished the south end as a kid since 1969 to present but the central and northern end is fairlly new to me in certain areas. My best friend dad owns Newells Marina and he knows the lake inside- upside down and runs these areas like you wouldnt believe, but you know how that goes when your flying through these areas and steadly looking around for points of interest for markers for when your fishing alone. I just wanted to be able to kee the new cat from damage, i always idle through areas i dont know and sometimes just sit and watch areas i dont know for someone to come through and see how they transit the area. Thanks for the kick back and hoe to see you on the bend sometime and pass a few stories.
