I was thinking about upgrading from 750 GPH bilge pumps to 1000 GPH pumps. Didnt know if anyone has done this by just changing the catridge ? Could I still use the same size breaker ? Sometimes the water can be pretty rough on the Potomac and Buggs Is. Thought I had heard someone say something about fault codes on the A-10 dash.

That is a possibility and the amperage load is going to be border line on a continuous run if you needed them. Year model and Dash?

Its a 1996 Eyra The dash has been converted to an A-10 touch pad. What would you consider continous,10, 20 minutes? I know bigger is not always better. But in this case if you needed it didnt think it would hurt. Ive fished in a lot of brand x boats before in terrible storms when they would beach their boats. Thanks, Mike

The 750 pumps would be enough for most any situation. The water in a downpour would not out rain their capacity from experience. BCB
