None at all on Mosquito. I have been over to Portage lakes. Did pretty well there.I havent been on Erie since I was a kid. I would love to get into small mouth fishing there but I would rather go out with someone else first.

I live in SE PA, so not really too close. Have not fished Mosquito but I know several guys that do, but they are all walleye guys. I have fished Erie every spring for 27 or so years. I usually launch out of Northeast or the Presque Islse. I will be there from April 26 to May 6. I have never launched out of Ohio, so I would not be any help over there. I will also be at Erie June 14 – 17. The big smallies are usually up in late April or Early May. Presque Islse Bay is a great largemouth fisherie once the weather warms up. If I can be of any help, let me know.

Thanks for the replies guys. Thought I was kind of a lone wolf out here lol… Maybe if the timing works out for all of us Ohioians, we could pick a lake relatively reasonable for everyone and have a lil weekend guy/basscat retreat…

Like my neighbor (and Father in Law) Scubaman154 I am in Marietta, OH and am pickin up my first Bass Cat, and first boat, a week from Friday.
