Im back with thoughts for fishing and new Panteera Classic+. I think this could be THE boat for me knowing RP and crew always do something innovative with a new pending release. So….. Its enjoyably Tick…..Tock…..Tick…..Tock. All buying decisions are based on emotions and this 59 year old heart flutters like a kid in a toy store. LOL My personality type I embrace being an early adopter and like trying new things. Anything BassCat does will be well thought out I have now worries. The next hardest decision is motor decision and for me that will either be a 200SHO or 200 Etec G2. Both for me are excellent motors for my preferences and not intended to point of emphasis. PC+ layout, my wish is is will be wider front deck and center rod box. So who knows? What I do know my body is healing, Im thinning down and that new BassCat OI front page stimulates many emotions within me. I cant wait to return someday with my son so he can see all the floating christmas tree bulbs at the bow of all those BassCats! What a cool event and experience.
Tom, glad you are steadily working on getting better. Dont forget about the Caracal. Right now, every time I take mine out, I forget more and more about my Cougar. Dont get me wrong, the Cougar is an awesome rig, but this Caracal is just perfect for me! It handles like a dream, is plenty fast for me and fishes so much better. One thing I miss is the under seat storage, but thats an option now. Also, to me, the jury is still out on the cafe wind screens. I may put the bigger ones on the boat, not decided yet.
Bill I agree. Im just gonna weight and see what this NewCat is gonna look like. After that it will help me formalize my next steps. By the way your Caracal is sharp. I saw it on FB.
Hey Tom, I hope your feeling better and For Sure get into a New Kitty. I may be going down in July for the Dealer meeting since my New Boss at New Marina loves how many fishing boats I sell. A new G2 Etec HO would be killer on one of your Custom Colored Kittys…..I still remember that Grey P4 I think it was, texting you pics when I was at the Plant…..Hope Your doing good Buddy. Brannon
Tom, glad you are improving, and hope that you can get back into a Cat soon. I told myself I would never go back down under a 20 boat, and I absolutley love my Eyra, but if the Classic does become a wide bodied rig, I will be leaning pretty hard towards that one for my next rig. Unless I move to a house with a bigger garage before my next boat, I may downsize, just for the sake of having a little more space at the house. I think for many places across the country, a 19 boat is the perfect all purpose length for a bass boat, and would fit my needs very well, if they are able to maximize the deck space. I am looking forward to the re-introduction to say the least.
chop a foot of a Caracal and put a deuce on it
They are diligently working on the new model. The hull is completed as are the stringers, so now they are tooling the deck. The design is unique to this model and storages are vey different also. The model has a very out of the box deck design for rods and storage access. There will be no images released till the first showing. The model shares nothing in design with current boats.
Curiosity always gets the best. Im sure it will be awesome as is all the others are2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
I will be in the market again around the time this boat is released. Very anxious to see the specs on this one myself and anxious to see the deck layout. Just a thought, the gap between the driver console and the side gunnels on the new stratos and now ranger boats makes using both sides of the front deck very nice (my partner in one series has a 189VLO is the only reason I know, my other partner had a stratos too in case youre wondering from other threads). One other thing thats pretty nice would be a wide rear cargo lid for the battery area so the rear running light would fit back there too so it wouldnt have to be stored in the front starboard Rod locker. Just a couple of thoughts…VERY ANXIOUS about this model!!! Cant say that enough. Im eager to see this boat as well. Kind of holding off on upgrading. If the new Classic has the features that I would love to have in the PII then Ill be looking at them very hard.
