I use the hound dog as well. Loaded an old Ambassador 5500C w/ heavy nylon twine and cut an old pole off after the first line guide. Works just like K-Pinks – but didnt have to pay for the dog leash.

I also use the hound dog with some 65# braid on a cheap reel that was given to me.

WOW…thats slicker than Coon turd on a pump handle. Ill be getting me one of those. Already got the hound dog but the line always gets tangled. Thanks Ward.

I cant keep my hound dogs from drowning…been thru 3 already this year! They cant swim worth a flip. GRR884—heard a lot of one liners but thats a new one and a funny one!2017 Eyra / 250 Merc Pro XS

Bigs lots has retractable leashes for cheap (~$10). Just bought one few weeks ago.
