CLEANING SCREENS

a lint free microfiber towel is included for cleaning the units screen. the towel is highly effective in clearing away water spots, smudges and finger prints. just wipe the screen with the dry towel- its not necessary to moisten the towel with water. if the screen is badly soiled, you may use water or common window or lens cleaner. however, DO NOT use polishing compound or any other abrasive product. if you lose the towel or wear it out, you can replace it with a similar microfiber cloth. these are often available where shop towels or automobile cleaning towels are sold.

I use this on my screens plus using the clothes memtioned in earlier post. Works great on the screens plus makes a major difference on your line. Ron

Another one. Wal-Mart sells a blue box, about 1″ thick, maybe 6″x3″ in size, inside are foil-sealed packages of a sheet of material suitable for cleaning high-quality eyeglasses, wetted with a alcohol-based cleaning solution that works great on depth finders and anything else. The packets are something like 1.5″ square and you can stick a few in any convenient storage box. You open it, clean everything from eyeglasses to sunglasses to depth finder or instrument faces. Then toss it in the trash. Been using em for a couple of years and I trust them on some Carl Zeiss transition eyeglass lenses which do not come cheap.2008 Pantera Classic2014 Mercury Pro XS 200
