Eyra 200 Pro XS?

Curious as to the final numbers from the dealer meeting on the Eyra and 200 Pro XS combo? Since we have Flyswatters documented numbers I was wondering how they compare?

It ran out at a max of about 73.2 and the mileage was as would be expected from an Opti. We dont have those numbers and we will have to see Rick on those. He was the numbers guy on the runs. Most of the rest of us never saw anything below 65-70 when we got in them. Drop and run! BCB Admin.

Dont want to stir the pot here but with the tackle Flyswatter is carrying it appears the SHO 4 stroke 200 may be a little faster. Think he has a 75.3 run in 94 degree heat with a tackle load. Never the less those are great numbers for a 200 HP on a 20+ rig. Great job BCB!

It was over 100 degrees, high humidity, and boats were loaded with gas. And set-ups were not “tweaked”.Im sure the SHO is a great engine, im just tired of all the cheerleading. And what will a powerhead cost for the SHO ?How much more is the SHO than the E-Tech or Pro XS ?

I have run both and with out any reservations, both are great motors. But to say the SHO is faster without camparing apples to apples may be a mistake. I have compared apples to applea and the pro XS is a faster motor. ………….

Well I to agree that Everyone Needs to Chill on Sucking the S.H.O. Dry, its revolutionary for sure (in concept I guess), but I bet you a Dollar that a 200 HO Evinrude would be King Chit of the 200s, not because im a BRP KoolAid Pourer but because of the Torque and its Pure Power……I dont want to get into a Debate, just figured Id add my 2 cents, and my 200 HO Opinion is shared by a 2010 Eyra 200SHO Owner, so that says something!!!! Guys, we cant get caught up in Hype, I have in the past, and so have you, lets just Try and help fellow buyers and future prospects…….Brannon

Going forward we are splitting hairs. Both are great engines and you figure with time and setup theyll both be about the same. 100° temps 73 mph on the is awesome.DB, power head replacement is not a concern. Every engine has history regardless of color. So far early in the game VmaxSHO is doing just fine on motor performance. So lets leave it at that. Both are great engines. I will say the four stroke option is proving itself worry for BassBoat application. Nothing wrong with cheerleading as long as you dont dawg another motor choice. Anything less is insecurity. Brannon,I wouldnt want to bet against you. The HO is a strong motor for sure. I cant wait to see the numbers with proper setup on a Eyra. Wheres Ron? Peace,Flyswatter

This one has not been tweaked to max, and odds are it will not be either. Nice rig and fuel mileage is supreme. BCB
