Over the years, every now and then, I find another item that I should keep on my boat in case I need it. I was wiping down my boat last night when I though I ought to post on this site what Ive got in my utility storage behind the drivers seat….and others on this site could add to the list….so that folks could go to this post and determine what extras they might need to carry to perhaps save a fishing day sometime when things dont go as planned or something breaks out on the water.Heres what I carry in my utility box:Prop WrenchFuel Filter Tool (Mercury)Spare foot pedal switch for trolling motor (when I had a Motor Guide)Spare trolling motor prop with shear pinBulbs to fit my running lights3/4 socket, extension, and 3/4 wrench for taking off spare tire from trailer”X” type tire tool(2) extra drain plugsElectrical TapeExtra kill switch chords(2) Square drive drivers (one small, one the next size up….as this is what BCB uses on the boat)Phillips head screwdrivers (one long, one short)Flat head screwdrivers (one long, one short)Jumper cablesElectrical stripping pliersRoll of wire(2) wires, 10 long, with a gator clip on each endBox of zip-lock bagsBag of emergency first aid kit stuffTowel$20 bill Cheap ponchoHopefully others can add to this list so that we all can take inventory and be sure we are equipped to make a day work out that may otherwise be lost due to problems and lack of emergency supplies to get us thru the day.
