I have owned my 1995 model Pantera 2 for about a year now. I have been reading this board since I purchased the boat, but this is the first time I have made any comment here. First, I would like to say that I love the boat and am very impressed with the BCB company. This week my father came in for a visit from out of town and he rented a small house on Lake Norfork. I live about two hours away and let him use the boat for the week because I could not get off work. He is a very experienced boater and outdoorsman and I was not concerned with him having any problems. I got a panic phone call yesterday from him saying that the boat was filling with water and he thought the live well pumps were leaking into the bilge area and the bilge pump would not work. He got the boat back on the trailer and we spent about 30 minutes on the phone trying to fix the problem. I called Scott at BCB ( about 3:00pm ) and he said that everyone was getting off work early for the holiday weekend. He said for my dad to get over there ASAP and he would have a few boys wait on him to fix the boat. About two hours later I got a phone call from Mr. Rick Pierce saying that the boat was fixed, all pumps replaced and rewired, and to have a great Easter. Mr. Pierce would not take any payment other than to say ” Welcome to the family”. There is no reason that BCB should feel they need to do repair work on a 14 year old boat ( especally the owner of the company ), but I have learned that this is the kind of company that takes care of their customers. BCB stands head and shoulders above the rest and I will never own anything but a BassCat. So I say a heart felt Thank You to Mr. Pierce and the boys at BCB. Happy Easter to everyone. I love hearing stories like you just shared. I fished from Ranger boats until 1997 and Triton boats from 1997 until the present. I have a new Puma on order partly because of the family atmosphere with Bass Cat boats, what appears to be excellent attention to detail and build quality, and the level of service available from Bass Cat. I really loved both my Ranger and Triton boats, and it was a difficult decision to change to the Bass Cat brand, but for the reasons stated about I think that I made the best decision about which brand to run. Thank you for sharing your story. Corky
Welcome to the Family! Ed”Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional illogical minority, and rapidly promoted by an unscrupulous main- stream media which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”
I have not had the pleasure in meeting the Pierces or anyone on this board. Wish I could make the OI. All I can say is I respcept everyone here and Im glad to be a part of the family.
Wow…….thats some impressive service. Makes me proud to be a Cat owner hearing stuff like that! If I didnt live so far from BCB, Id stop by just to shake hands on that one. Gives me one more reason to convert all my buddies to BCB…as if the boat wasnt enough!!! Seriously, I took alot of flack from buddies regarding potential contigency money for circuits I fish when I ordered my Puma…and Ive lost out on some this year already…but, those guys can keep every penny!!! Id rather own the best built, best performing, and best serviced boat on the market…bar none! Hats off to Mr. Pierce and the BCB staff.
Ron and Rick, and ALL the folks at BCB, are absolutely some of the best folks you will ever meet. Because of this, we would never even consider a different brand of boat. There loyalty is with us, and our loyalty is with them. They are always there for the family of BCB owners. In service for our boats, or in prayer for our loved ones. My wife and I are so proud to have been able to be a part of this for the last 14 yrs. We are trying to decide on the new colors for our next boat. This will be #5. We are not sure what colors yet, But we do know what brand it will be. May GOD bless Ron, Rick and the Crew at BCB, each and every one. They are the Best.
Glad that they got your Father fixed up and back on the water. It was a beautiful day today, so we figure he enjoyed the day! BCB
