How yall feel about A&M joining the SEC? Will they be an immediate rivalry for both? Hogs what about Mizzu possibly coming?

Now before I get started realize that I am generalizing and have close family that are graduates….Texas A&M-Obnoxious testorone laden step children of UT. Who else would have enough of an inferiority complex to mention another school(Texas I believe?) in their fight song? Its like the Citadel + women with moustaches everwhere. Not to mention friggin Lassie barking all the time. I swear someone even kisses the dog when they score.Who else would have a wedding in Austin that I was still (unfortunately) sober enough to remember the bride and groom coming to the reception with the A&M fight song playing for their entrance? Next thing I know all the damn Texas fans are singing about the eyes of damn Texas. HORRIBLE.Best part about A&M games is ALWAYS the band. Now the band I look forward to again.Mizzou- sounds good. Danged, we were the only ones out of Texas in the SWC and now they are dog piling (pun intended) us in the SEC. They really wanted an Oklahoma Texas Conference back then with both Oklahoma teams. Though Nebraska, Kansas and others all defaulted to hold the Big 12 from the Big 8. The SEC is already too large for many, who would the SEC drop? Vandy? Surely not them. South Carolina? Perhaps or Florida, doubtful as they bring plenty of TV revenue. Somehow this is all going to change the SEC and others more than we realize now.

Pandoras box is open. Lots of rhetoric will be exhausted and in less then 5 years I bet we will see a college FB tournament in place? When the dust settles who will be wearing the pants in College FB? Will it be Super conferences or NCAA? Hmmm….. That wheel is now turning in my opinion. Where it ends up who knows. Ill be fishing and catching up on games like RP in the interim.

Looks like we are in the same SEC West, lol.Arkansas and A&M? A rivalry that died out years ago when Coach Broyles got us out of the SWC for a better situation (kinda like Nebraska did recently). As far as Im concerned, its just another opponent and though the first half of my life was spent watching SWC Hogs, the adult, more understanding part of my life LOVES the SEC Hogs and consider Alabama and LSU as our top rivals, even though the feelings arent mutual.I am sure they will keep the “Southwest Classic” at Jerrys world until a time where the $$ run out. WE NEED VANDY FOR THEIR ACADEMICS…WHAT WE DONT NEED IS THE NCAA…ITS TIMEFOR THEM TO BE GONE AND ATHLETICS TURNED BACK OVER TO THE AD AND NOT THEPRESIDENTS…..

I dont like expansion myself. I think the SEC is fine with the 12 we have. Dont get on Vandy too bad. They always have a nice Basketball team and their baseball team made it to the CWS this year. If I had my choice Big 12 would stay as is and add TCU. If the SEC had to expand I would want Clemson and Florida State but I know South Carolina/Florida will fight to keep them out.
