We know there is tremendous interest in the Jaguar. We also know that the size and price of hits rig will limit the purchase power and feasible use. We do want to release details, and images are out and we can not express enough our enthusiasm for this product. The comments of a few that have seen it are very positive. We have repeatedly said it will not replace the 20 series. The 20 models are the best of both worlds and the latest hulls really seem to be very popular. The Puma FTD is a very nice rig, and those who have them really like them a lot. The 20 rigs just fit in the tournament world very well. Still we know there are 21 (+) boat people out there that must have a 21. Which is why we decided to continue and engage this product during a time of financial turmoil. The market has a percentage of 21 customers who will not even consider anything else, and this boat is a big (did we say big) 21 model that will really meet the needs of those individuals. By the Owners Invitational we know it should be in the molding process. Thus it will not be able to be seen physically. We also do not want images on the web of the boat in tooling as the items we are working on are very innovative, and we do not want our competition to get their hands on these concepts before we complete the process. There are many reasons not to post images. We also can not physically take the time to show everyone the boat without stopping the tooling process and thus falling further behind. So we are considering what we would call a “Soft Showing” with about 8 individuals who might be interested in viewing the prototype for a couple of hours on a specific time frame. There is not much to see, there is no flash, though there is enough to gather the concepts, if someone were interested and the details were explained to them. It would be a chance to see the prototype master before the color goes on and in the wooden tooling process. It might also answer some of the questions we are getting about the Jaguar. Once the molding starts everything is covered up and final production would be the next time it would be viewed, only weeks before completion. This viewing would not be the week of the Invitational, though very soon. We are interested to know if anyone would like to take the time for this. And we dont want to totally shut everyone out on this one. We made a choice to open it up and announce it early, then we closed it and now we are thinking about showing it to answer some questions to those who keep wondering. Just our thoughts now guys! And yours? RickLast edited by Bass Cat Boats on April 2nd, 2009, 1:46 pm, edited 1 time in total.
That would certainly be a unique opportunity to see what goes into designing one of those hulls. I wish I was able to come to the OI, so I could be a part of it.
When you want me to cancel clinic? Just kidding. Not a 21 boat purchaser here. Id take Addison, and 7 others that have owned at least 5 boats and know how to put a 100+ real hours on in a year. Guys that know what a real 6 wave looks and talks like and tastes like. Not a guy in a 18 Skeeter that thinks a 3 wave is a tsunami.Last edited by clownshoes on April 2nd, 2009, 3:26 pm, edited 2 times in total.C.O.D. Jr. III
Just bring me one and I will test it in the Gulf of Mexico. Rick did say the front deck could double as a helicopter landing pad.Last edited by Bama96 on April 2nd, 2009, 5:15 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Heck, that thing will go through a 20 wave!!! HahahhahaDan Yonan. ———————————————————
I know youre friend @ Pops will be interested in this project considering hes wanted one for years ! And im sure youll fill the room with those who can spread the facts about the vessel, and maybe give some input into final touches. To me you should call those who have been wanting one for Great Lakes, Potomac, Big Texas waters, and others who simply want the comfort of a battle cruiser ! Itll be interesting to see and i cant wait to ride in one ! D.
This was taken yesterday of it….
