13 Cougar AE 250 Pro XS 26p Fury 3 bladeWinter-bound up here so I thought Id check my prop to pad measurement. I leveled the pad using the center, concave part of the pad. Also leveled the Merc using the cavitation plate.For the prop to pad measurement (using the center, concave part of the pad), I get 4 5/16″. 8″ Slidemaster plate is 1″ above flush.My best performance this last season with myself and grandson at approx 370lbs (total ) with 15 gals of gas, empty livewells, and no shallow water anchors was 75-76 gps. Analog tach had 5800rpm and water pressure was 22+. Elevation 1070.I cant seem to get above 5800rpm.Should I be using the center part of the pad for the measurement or the flat outer edges?Am I in the right place with my height?
