I received a quote of $225 to repair the dings and custom tune my 25p trophy. My question is whether it is worth doing or simply put that $ towards a new Fury. My trophy ran great out of the box but is showing her age. I already have a spare so either the worked trophy or the new fury would be the primary prop for pushing my 00 Jag. The motor is a Mercury 225 EFI. Im interested in all opinions, especially those who have had work done on their props. Also, would the 24p be the right one if I decide to go w/ the Fury? Thanks.

Fury would be our option, sell the spare you have, if you have one, and upgrade. Keep the beater for backup…

I would probably think about getting a new prop. $225 is a lot of money to repair an old prop when you could get a brand new fury for twice that ( i think). If you need to save as much money as possible, then repair yours. But, I would vote for getting a new one. Your choice. KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

Im thinking that 225 might like a Fury 25p over a 24p…….try em both before dropping the $$!

On an EFI 225 we would go with a 25 Fury, as they like more RPMs than the Optis. They tend to run a little taller in pitch than labeled. BCB

I am running a Fury 24 on my Classic and Yamaha 175 HPDI and turning 5600, so it looks like to me you would want to go with a Fury 25P with Mercury 225.. Skipjack68

Thanks all. A 25p Fury is on order. Anyone want a spare trophy?
