Im interested in buying an Eyra, possibly a Puma, but as of now my first choice is an Eyra. Do the dealers work with each other at all if one has a boat Im interested in or do they even get Eyras in besides custom orders? Is there an easy way besides searching every dealer to find out who has Eyras in stock? I may end up ordering one but hate to be without a boat for 2-3 months but also want to get the options I want. Im going to test drive a Puma with a SHO tomorrow to compare to the Mercury. Last edited by C130 on December 2nd, 2016, 12:36 am, edited 1 time in total.
They can do an exchange on inventory, though it is not a common system like automotive dealers. The inventory with Yamaha is less and the Eyra is a popular model on inventory in 2017.
We do currently have an Eyra in inventory. Picture avaliable at http://www.brechmarine.com Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,Scott Brech334-875-3484
Bowden Marine(in the Houston area) has a demo Eyra, give William a call 281-441-7788.
That eyrra was sold last week and will deliver in a couple of weeks. The poster took a ride in that boat as well a puma FTD that the regional rep owns.
Yes, I rode in Bowdens Eyra, didnt know it was for sale yet. I liked it but not the colors I prefer. Im open to several coolr combinations but dont want a lot of white. Now, the reps Puma FTD was very nice, that is one sharp boat. I test drove a Puma FTD today with the SHO and liked it a lot. Both motors are great I think but really liked the SHO.Last edited by C130 on December 3rd, 2016, 2:23 am, edited 1 time in total.
The list of Yamaha and Eyra models is more limited in your area. Alabama and Kentucky offer a stronger inventory of SHO engines and the dealers preference is what determines this.

One is in Alabama and the other right across the border from Kentucky so youre spot on! Found another one with the Mercury but dont know the options yet and they are closed today. One question, how much trouble is it to swap out a flush mounted 10″ screen to a 12″? Is it possible, maybe I should phrase it as is it worth it?Last edited by C130 on December 3rd, 2016, 6:04 pm, edited 2 times in total.
I have seen the one at Brech Marine and it is a beauty. Plus, Scott is a really good guy and will give you a very fair price and lots of support, if needed. I love the Eyra layout and look…if I could afford one, that would be the boat.2017 Sabre FTD AE DC2017 Yamaha 175 SHOMK Fortrex 80Helix 10 Mega SI in consoleHelix 7 GPS SI GN2 on bow

I bet it looks even better in person. Couple of options I wish it had but we discussed some of them, some others I havent asked about yet. I like the upgraded digital guages, not sure if thats an easy change or not. But, I know if I dont oder one I have to be realistic in my options.
