Topic: Help with Eyra Engine Height

I seem to remember reading the recommended pad to engine height as 23.75. On my 2012 Eyra, 225 ProXS, Im at 24, so a bit above that. On my boat, this equates to about 4.5 inches from pad to propshaft, which seems low. Ive also read the Fury likes it low. I just want to confirm the 23.75 number as a good starting point to dial this thing in. Thank you.

It’s all about torque on top end and just a tad bit, though that should get you close.

My 2012 Eyra with 250 & hydraulic Jack plate likes it all the way down with fury prop your probably close on height.

I believe it also depends on which Fury prop you’re referring to. Everyone I know running a Fury 4 says they like to be run higher than a Fury 3.

The Fury 3 likes to run deeper than the 4 blade. On the Eyra I owner, I had the JP all the way down on hole shot, than bump up the JP as I gained speed.

How many plugs do you have in the fury 3 on your eyra

Most run the Fury 3 with no plugs at all.
