Well finally today I found the problem. Pressure tested the high (100 and holding)and low fuel (10-12 psi)pumps and they wasnt normal. Opened up the VST and the high pressure pump sleeve was cracked and the low pressure pump screen was clogged slap up. Cleaned and replaced parts and she ran great and jumps out of the hole in 2 seconds. Hope this is something that will help anyone that is having bogging problems or it feelings like it is starving for gas. Dang what a relief off my mind when I had 2 technicians look at it and I finally figured it out.
Looked like fuel degradation in the low pressure fuel pump screen. When I first started having problems the first thing was the fuel line liner degraded internally and a small amount ended up in the fuel filter. Then right after that it started bogging, but I had kept in in garage due to moving and building house. Good lesson learned is dont put off fishing for to long of a period.
Or use more fuel additives. Very Nice catch as most techs look at fuel rails, injectors and compressors. Simple fuel delivery gets forgotten about on newer direct injection systems, other than hoses and fuel bulbs.
Thats the problem withal all of this new fangled ” build a better mousetrap ” stuff !! — The high tech stuff gets 90% of the blame , when a lot of the time its the same old 10% causing the problem . — I see it every day in the automotive field . — Hoss
