Smart Craft Oil Gauge showing .5 when reservoir is full

What should I check, my smartcraft oil gauge is showing .5 when full? Is this normally just an issue with the gauge or could it be problem with oil flow to the engine?2008 175 Pro with Smart Craft Gauges.Thanks… Maybe it is time to sell and buy a Caracal

Try calibrating the oil tank with tank full…use default calibration.

It could be the sender is stuck against the side of the tank. Loosen the other cap and move sender to a different spot. See if it helps
