Has anyone tried to get an extra battery in the bilge compartment of a PIII. I have a MotorGuide 109 36v I want to use and need to figure out how to squeeze a battery in somewhere.
i dont know if this will help but i run a classic and also have a 36v system but i run 3 batteries alll of them are scs225 trojans the largest that they make and have been running them for four years and no problems so if you do not have the space for another battery then maybe you might try just three
Ive been running a MG TE82 36V since 01 in my P-III with just three batteries, no problems!Similar to Idaho, a Trojan 225 and two Trojan 200s have kept me going on 36Vs for a long time.
When I have had a depth finder hooked up to the same battery I use for troll motor the depth finder goes crazy everytime I hit the switch on the troll motor. Is this not a problem with the 36 volt system?
