FTD front storage tacle pictures/opinions? Hope everyone is ok down that way dealing with mother nature

want some pics of how cat owners organize the front tackle compartments.thanks as everyone is stuck inside due to a major snow storm looks like we may have alot more BASSCAT family potential members comin november/december time frame

Which FTD are you referring to? Id show you some pictures of how my tackle is organized in my CougarFTD, if it really was organized, but its a mess right now. On the Cougar…you have more room than most would ever need.

What snow! Backyard is cold and dry, except for the goldfish pond which has tropical fish in it that have adapted to the cold and breed in there. (Brazilian tetras, they eat flakes like fish 10 times their size).Like I said, what snow??!!!Your Signature …

I have a few pics that I took. I dont carry much stuff, no need, I want to fly on the lake!!!!! The rear driver compartment, I took a milk crate and cut the top half off and put my spare prop, tools, etc. The front ice chest is used for gloves, glasses, cell phone, etc. I have a tool caddy that I added from cabelas, its the Rapala one, that I glued on with velcro that sits between the bucket seats and center ice chest. I have all my containers labeled and that does help me when I want to grab something quick. Hope this helps.

Here is a pic of the tool caddy from Rapala, its magnetic, so tools dont fly around. I placed it between the seats so the tools can be reached easily by anyone in the boat! It has worked out very well and I dont have to open any lids to get my pliers, cutters, scissors!

thanks for the input. once it thaws out here in virginia i will look into customizing the front and get ready for the POTOMAC and those damm SNAKEHEADS!!! by the way best fish anyone will ever eat.yeap that good.

Have those snakehead fish really got into the Potomoc R.? That would suck to hear that.As for the storage compartment arrangement, Ive got a 10 Puma FTD, and I still have to figure how exactly Im going to situate all my stuff. The left and right front bait storage will only work certain ways with Falcon storage boxes, but I keep most of the standard storage boxes there. The big storage space just in front of the step up to the front deck I put either life jackets or y spinerbait & jig storage boxes in there. I keep y boat dock bumpers in the rear storage bays behind the seats, and will start keeping a spare container of DFI oil in one of those. I keep anchors, ropes, emergency paddle, life jackets, and front seat in one of the rod lockers to try and anticipate weight balance.Im jealous of all those rods and bait boxes in JSlaws boat. Those look like they do a good job of keeping tangles and dust to a minimum. I keep worms in their original packaging and just use whatever random Academy, B ProShops, HEB, Piggly Wiggly, etc… plastic grocery sack to keep em all in one spot, then stick that sack in one of the front bait storage compartments.For your own boat, do what you think will work best. Good luck thawing out soon. Unlike yesterday, we didnt make it above freezing today at the house, even though most all the ice melted off the roof and refroze on the plants. Im ready for it to warm back up to the 50s and 60s so the basses will move back up and we can ll go fish. It is too dang cold right now to do that!Your Signature …
