These dates are confirmed. April 15th and 16th, 2016Bull Shoals ReservoirLakeview, ArkansasLakeview MarinaHQ: Mountain Home, ArkansasRegistration in Mountain Home AreaApril 15th and 16th, on Bull Shoals Reservoir. Headquarters will be Mountain Home, AR and probably use a facility inside MH or the factory for HQ. Site location for take off is planned to be Lakeview Marina, Lakeview, Arkansas due to proximity to Mountain Home and the quality chain motel availability for volume. The hotel options close to Bull Shoals are very limited. There are a few options on the White River (River Road) like Gastons Resort, Newlands Resort and the State Park has two rental trailers. Limited Houses on the River are available and there are small resorts on Howard Creek arm which will accommodate anglers and families. The Arkansas State Parks campground is extremely nice and Lakeview Park USACE also is a good location with close proximity to the marina. Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock (870-445-4424) has rental houseboats that will work great for small groups. That also have a resort on the point. We would love to go out of Steves dock, however room after weigh in and the risk of high water have pressed us to Lakeview for post weigh in crowds.BCBLast edited by Bass Cat Boats on September 18th, 2015, 11:26 pm, edited 2 times in total.

They have not set the 2016 entry fee yet. It was $150 in 2015.

Whats the normal weather at this time in Mountain Home ? Us southern boys tend to get cold feet ya know. LOL

There is no normal weather in Mountain Home area in spring. Just plan for cool mornings of 40s to 50s early and temps up into the 70s in normal pattern years. It should be warmer earlier in the morning, then again it could snow here at Easter and has a few times. That would be brief though, and you can always shuck a jacket. BCB

LOLMike, I am no expert on the weather but I have spent a lot of time in the Mountain Home area over the last 40 years. That time of year you can expect anything from highs close to 90 or maybe even highs in the 40s or lower. I would guess average is upper 60s to 70s for highs and lows dipping down around upper 40s to 50s on average. Perfect weather!
