I have a 07 optimax 115 on my caracal. The other day when i went to shift in reverse the “male part” of the throttle cable pushed out of the throttle box. i was able to push it back in with a pair of pliers but it continues to come loose when i put it in reverse. Now, the cable is so loose it will not even shift into reverse or neutral. the throttle handle will go into the “neutral” postion which will allow the engine to start. But it starts in gear which i know is not good for the motor. I took the throttle box apart and everything seemed fine in it. Seems like the cable is in a bind somewhere in the motor. Any suggestions? thanks,chase
