lake in NY need help!!!!

have a tournament on a lake ive never fished before up here its called silver lake any tips??i hear its tough

That is where I have my boat stored..beautiful area…..fished hard and tons of pleasure boaters. Not a huge lake and not real deep..let me know how you do.

I got your PM about Silver, sorry for not responding. I have never even laid eyes on the lake, so I am of no help. I have heard it can be tough. A few years ago though, a guy from the club had 21+lbs so who knows??? I think I will be there Saturday. What time do you guys weigh in? Bill

well weigh in at 12:30 at the country club and take off at 6:30 at the state launch…my dad has the all blue older pantera 2 its a sky blue color so if ur up there look for that boat ha ill most likely be running the boat so ill b the tall kid in the front

hey guys did good in my tournament today especially for my 1st time on the lake…i caught 4 keppers that weighed 10.14 lbs and won the tournament lol and also caught big bas a 3.11 largemouth caught em all flippin

olddawg: i think i may have seen your trailer or someone elses at the ramp today after my dad loaded his boat it was a white trailer with a gmc pickup i think

Man I hope not I am over an hour away…..lol Mine is in storage there awaiting parts from Bass Cat……Congrats on the win…maybe I should be fishing that lake while I am waiting but I dont think they would charge the batteries for me.Last edited by Olddawg on July 11th, 2009, 9:50 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Congrats on your win Clayton. Told you, if you put your head down, fish hard then good things happen. From the email you sent, sounds like the fishing was tough but that you made the most out of what you had. Congrats Again and Good Luck
