My new PIV

Here is my new 09 PIV, you have to see it in person, the pictures dont do it justice at all. Does anyone know if BassCat glues in any of the front tranducers, the wire goes into the hull, but never comes out to the trolling motor, I dont know if its just laying in there for me to mount or they epoxied it in the bow area. It came with 2 Hbird 727s so Im going to pull them and upgrade to color/gps/SI. The build sheet says it was ordered by Open Throttle Marine. Im going to put my “02 Jag on the market in a month or so. Thanks to everyone that gave me some free advice on this one and helped me out on the Jag as well.

The front transducer is in the hull for my 510 Lowrance. When Sherm installed my HD Hamby he had to find the ping to make sure he did not install over it. I knew then it was not his first day at the rodeo. two years later and so far not a single problem with both transducers being in the hull. I cant imagine Cat just letting it lay in there. BTW I think those pics look fantastic, congrats!! You guys are killing me with all the new 19 footers.

For sure that is one I would like to see in person. Your Etec looks sharp. I thought I would never want to see the stars and stripes removed but the cowling graphics look awesome. Congrats! You are going to love that boat.

Mike.The boat looks great. I hope you enjoy it for many years. My piv has just been finished and is a similar colour scheme, the onlyset back is i have eight weeks to wait before it arrives in Australia, i also have chosen a 200 ho so a report on performance and prop size would be great since the piv i purchased is the first to arrive on our shores. I like the colors!!!! Nice looking Cat!!! I dont know if all Cats have the transducer in the hull up front or not. BCB will answer that no doubt. On my 09 Cougar, my HB transducer is on the TM, so I dont know if theres one in the hull. My 06 Cougar had one in the hull, I liked that a bit better, no chance of damaging the transducer that way.

On the boats Ive ordered Standard, yes the bow ducer is glassed in, then if you order Universal Sonar you have another one, that way if the US dies, you always have a Backup. Mike that looks Bad Ass even with the Red!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BrannonYour Signature …

The pictures they had on their website and ebay looked so bad that I just knew it had to be the lighting, I was sure that BCB wouldnt build one so odd. I went to look at it and it looks tremendous in person, so I wrote the check. Its got a 24 pitch Raker 2 listed on the build sheet and Ive got a blueprinted 24 fury Ill try as well. Do I need to figure out what oil setting the Etec is on? Mike
