Greeting Fellow Anglers, I just replied to a question about a Navionics issue and wanted to let everyone on the Bass Cat forum know that if you have questions about Navionics, please let me know. I will not be on everyday, and no sales pitch…just info that might hlep you all find the fish. Welcome to the board! Do know if and when they will be back to Truman Lake, Missouri to finish the HD mapping? I have spoke to Shaun Ruge about 2 years ago about the problems, just curious.

1. I bought region 9 (which includes Mississippi) lake maps Platinum for my HDS unit. Online it shows it covers Pickwick Lake. When I got to Pickwick Lake everything is blurred except what small areas are actually Mississippi (assuming)! Mississippi and Tennessee are always on separate chips but both would usually have Pickwick Lake on them on my past chips! Can you help on this? 2. Also can you upgrade each year to a newer chip without having to buy another chip? Thanks, Ryan My email is ripthelips@gmail.com

We need better maps for South Louisiana. Is there anything we can do to get something better other than ripping out the hummingbirds and going back to lowrance mapcreate. Its a major issue for us. Thanks for being here.

A large part of Lake Fork is shown as blue, and when this is removed there are no contour lines. I have notified Navionics. Fayette County lake on 2007 edition shows underwater ponds, creeks, roads, etc. On 2009 HD map all of the features are gone. This does not hold true on other HD lakes for 2009 that I looked at. For fishing purposes 2007 edition is much better than 2009 in my opinion. Will these features be added back in next release?
