Hi, I have had my boat for a little over a year, and loving it. I figure I want to try to get it setup properly. Right now I feel like the motor may be way too low. I have a 6″ manual JP, and spinning a 24Raker (original) prop. Going to measure it tonight, and try to move it up to a suggested starting point.Seems like 4 1/4 below pad would be a starting point. I have a feeling I may be at 5 or more. My water pressure is about 28-29psi at WOT which is about 5300rpms and 56mph with 2 people, full fishing gear, both tanks about half full, and empty livewells. Feel like a lot of the boat is in the water until I get to 48mph and 4900ish rpms. Any other words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
