Prop? Four blade or three

Im running a cougar with two power poles and a 250 opti ProXS with a 26 fury, hole shot not bad with empty live wells but when they are full I have to turn hard left to come out of the whole looking for answers should I try a trophy 27

27 P Bravo XS 1 with 4 extra pvs holes with 3 small plugs and the last open. Set engine height at 2.5-2.75 below pad and hang on. Not fastest set up, but should still run 74-77 depending.

I think you will find that the Fury gives you the best holeshot. Holeshot will suffer going to a 4 blade . I used t have a trophy on my old jaguar and struggled to get on lplane and trailer at times Last edited by kbgfish on May 21st, 2013, 6:20 pm, edited 1 time in total.

One thing that I have noticed is that the Fury Props like a little more water. Try lowering your engine height to flush or 1/4″ below flush before you make any prop changes.
