I HAVE A 96 CLASSIC W/200 EFI MARINER. IM CURRENTLY RUNNING A 25P TEMPEST. MY TOP END IS 67 MPH @ 5800 RPM. I WOULD LIKE TO IMPROVE MY HOLESHOT. IT NOW TAKES ABOUT AROUND 8 SECONDS TO GET ON PLANE. ITS BEEN SUGGESTED IN THE PAST THAT I SHOULD GO TO A 23P TEMPEST BECAUSE OF THE AGE, AND THE SUBSEQUENT EXTRA WEIGHT OF MY BOAT. HOW WOULD THE LOWER PITCH EFFECT MY TOP END? ANY OPINIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

THANKS BOB. MY CURRENT PROP HAS BEEN SHAPED BEFORE AND IS RATHER THIN. I THINK ILL PROBABLY USE IT AS A BACKUP AND EITHER GET A NEW OR NEWER PROP. ILL SURE CALL IF I DECIDE TO REBUILD THIS ONE. GARRY
I have a 24 Trophy Plus (has PVS) that Im taking off of my Pantera thats in excellent shape–no dents, dings or burrs on the blades that Im posting this weekend for sale for $300, delivered in a Merc prop box.
