My fishing partner, William (Bill) Thwing, died last night of an apparent heart attack. His wife found him on their living room floor this morning. Bill was a great fishing partner and very reliable. We were to go fishing today and tomorrow. Bill dearly loved to fish, and he loved my Bass Cat Puma. Bill talked to Mr. Pierce at the Killeen, Texas Jaguar showing about building him a Jaguar with a seat modified for his physically handicapped son who is wheelchair bound. He told me last week that he was almost ready to order the boat. Bill was a good friend and a great fishing partner. I will miss him very much. Bill is survived by a lovely wife and two sons. One of his sons is in his last year of college and plans to attend medical school. His younger son, Alex, attends high school and inspires all who see him due to his spirit, work ethic, and wonderful attitude about life despite his handicapped condition. Bill and his family have contributed greatly to my life due to their friendship. I will miss him very much. Although he did not yet own his Bass Cat, he was very enthusiastic about owning a Bass Cat in the future, and I consider him to be part of the Bass Cat family. Corky
