Motorguide prop retrofit?

Did i read correctly in a past post that you said there is retrofit to use a mk prop with motoguide? I did a search and could not find it

Judd I have read the post, but cannot find anywhere where it explains what you need to do in order to make the conversion, it may be a simple process that i am pverlooking but want to know how to do it before i go out and buy one. Thanks in advance. Jason

Jason…that is all BCB said on the matter. It sounds like it involves carving up a MK prop. Sorry. JL

If someone wanted to experiment what mk prop would be suggested? for my mg?

A few years ago on BFHP I saw a post where a guy took a minnkota prop and just modified it so the shear pin would fit on a motorguide. It looked very easy to do, and if I fished the weeds much I would have tried it. I cant recall what MK prop was used. He said it worked great.-Joe P.S. I was surprised that BC mentioned this because not using a motorguide prop may void your warranty.
