The Malibu colors are black gel with a slight amount of the color flake its called. I dont know the exact percentage of flake, but its definitely not a like any other colors. I have a Malibu Red hull, cap inserts, and consoles. In the past, I had a Malibu Silver PII. I personally like the colors in the Malibu choices, but you must see them in person or at least look at a sample at your dealer.
