Hi all-I will be heading to Southern Florida on St. Patrick’s Day to tow my Cougar home. I have a full week before I need to have it back in New York. I had planned on fishing Okeechobee, but to has been way, way off. I’m looking for suggestions on where would be a good place to go that is somewhat on the path home from there either by Rt 95, or Rt 81. I was thinking Guntersville might be a good option, or maybe Santee? I would really appreciate some knowledgable suggestions.Thanks,Fishndav (David H)

Friend fished Lake George in Fl last week. They were whacking them. Nine 7 pounders, couple 8s and one 9 plus. I have no idea what part of the lake or what they were using. He just knew I was up in NY dealing with snow and he was punishing me with picture after picture via text. Hes mean! But Id of done the exact same thing. We all got friends like that thank God.If you want to see the pictures, you can see them here. If your going to Okeechobee, then there are lots of cool options through Florida. Conway downtown Orlando, Butler Chain, Kissimmee/Toho and more. Give Mark Detwiler a call at Big Toho Marina and see what he has to say.
