Well since I got my Bay Cat in February, it has only seen freshwater fishing. We have fished Several of the East Texas lakes catching just about every breed of fish that swims in these waters. Everything from black bass, white bass, hybrids, stripers, crappie and catfish. Finally got the Bay Cat introduced to some salt water. My wife and I and several of our friends recently took a trip to Rockport, TX for some fun in the sun and a little fishing. We caught and released several undersized trout but managed some keeper reds and some very large flounder. Well my wife managed some very large flounder, lets just say she put a whoopin on me with the flatfish!!!!!!!!!!!!! NUFF SAID! The only problem that I had with the Bay Cat was gettin on top in 1.5 feet of water. Most of the bays are shaaalllloooowwww in that part of the country. Figured it out though and all is good. Got to go offshore 2 days and boy what a treat. The first day was a little bumpy, constant 4 footers with the occassional 6 footer. The good thing was the intervals were such that we could crawl and surf. The second day was 2 footers calming to near flat. Offshore we caught several Spanish Mackeral and Kingfish. We also caught and released an unersized Ling. The Bay Cat / ETEC did a very good job both inshore as well as offshore. Here are some of the pictures that we took.
