BCB, would you please keep us all updated on how the Sabre with the 90 elpto runs, but I question why the ELPTO, simply because its a stout motor power wise, and wont it gone soon? I would love a comparo of the elpto to the Optimax, at the local show Triton had a non current sparcely optioned Explorer 17 with a 90 elpto, 17,999. I feel that the Sabre with that motor would be such a terrific alternative to it or the folks looking at the Ranger TR, or 17s, Skeeters lil guy and the very popular XT series from Stratos. When we spoke of this type of boat last year it didnt seem to interest anyone, what happened. Did the consumers decided to start shopping for Lil guys with small motors? Are the Old hull molds still good, meaning the Caracal Hull with a updated cap, or is it the Margay, im just wondering if tooling costs could be saved by using a existing hull mold modded for today, just us know how that 90 runs please.
