Ok so I have a 02 p3 with twin 26 rear mounted tanks and smartcraft gauges. I installed two brand new senders and still having issues. I am testing this with both senders out of the tanks so I can move the float manually. If I select “r” on the key pad tank 1 works just fine the fuel level will go to wherever I put the float but it will say tank 2 low fuel 0% even if i disconnect the wires from the sender (tank 2) it always says low fuel tank 2.Then if I switch it to” L” on the keypad it will say fuel “1” fault and tank 2 “low fuel”. So no matter what it always says low fuel tank 2 but if I switch it to “r” on the key pad it will at least give me an accurate reading on tank 1. On this boat tank “1” seems to be the right (starbord) tank and tank 2 is port. I have recalibrated both tanks and even switching the key pad for each tank as im doing it and no matter what I do I get the same result as explained above. I have checked grounds and switched senders even tho they are both new and nothing changes. What am I missing here this is getting frustrating please help.
