Ok Guys, I have an 06 puma w/225proxs with a trophy 26 pitch and was interested in swithing to the fury. What pitch should I get. I only get about 70 with a full TX load now on a good day. The hole shot could be better and only turning about 5650 rpms at wot. I have run trophys on my last 2 boats(2000Jag w/ 225opti) & my present puma because they hole shot better that the tempest and handled better in rough water. Will the fury solve both problems???

Try a 25 Fury.

I think a 25p Fury is the greatest thing since whipped butter ! Be careful loading on the trailer though,,,it will put the boat in the truck if you want it there.

BasserJC, I have a 06 Cougar FTD with the 225 Pro XS. I tried a 25 Fury on mine and went back to the Trophy. I think the Trophy performs better on this hull. I am gettin 75 with just me and at the OI I was running 72.6 with my partner, 3/4 tank fuel and all of his boat it seemed like. The Fury did load on the trailer better and had a great hole shot. When I was over to the factory they said they liked the Trophy on this hull. Just my 2 cents……………….. Just remember that you will need to lower the jackplate when you put the Fury on.Last edited by cmcbasscat on May 17th, 2010, 9:15 pm, edited 1 time in total.

I am running the same rig as yours and went to the 25 Fury. There is no going back as far as I am concerned.
