LITHIONICS BATTERY-now that battery talk is all over the board

who is running this system on a CAT? just saw a video of aaron martens using it.makes sense.1/3rd of the weight,bonus! more speed,holeshot,fuel economy,shallow water access etc.so i went to the website to check it out and lo and behold found a price sheet. clicked on that bad boy and BAMM! had to change my UNDEROOS immediately! seriously(a good pair i might add).WOW! thought i had a couple bucks left over to upgrade my cougar ftd.not the case.big money foe that system and i believe it requires a special charger (could be wrong on that one0 oh well.

Like 3broscat said, he needed to change the UNDERROOS after looking at pricing. I had to go get another Makers Mark and Diet Coke after looking at the prices. May even need to add a few shots of Patron before the MM and DC. My PII really performs better when it has more weight in the back. Guess I will upgrade to the sears agm 31 cranking battery. I hope the lithium batteries come with a lifetime warranty to include after somewhere freezes over.

$6000 for four batteries, the control box and the charger just seems a little off to me.

Ivan told me you lose 1mph per 100lbs. on the pad. Best case – you gain 2mph on top end. In a pros boat carrying spare props, trolling motors, and incredible loads – this would matter. In a typical tourney boat – I dont know that it would be a cost efficient modification. Lithium ion batteries are great for cell phones – boats, Im just not there yet.

so can you give some more info BCB? been doing more research on lithion-ion from BATTERIES UNIVERSITIES website talking about pros and cons(check it out)very good info for those of us who are not chemists or scientists.would love to try the system though! ill bet 50% of the elite pros run it this season.did i say bet? thats why i dont gamble.my record at that game is horrible.

With what Ive read lately on people having chargers catch on fire NO WAY in heck would I have a Lithium Battery in my boat…despite what the manufacturers say.

@GRRR884….. chargers catching on fire??…. sorry but I need to see it to believe it. Before the charger would catch on fire, the protection circuits and fuses would blow…. I think if a charger did catch on fire that it had little to do with battery t
