I live near the lake and fish it fairly often. Jordan is a relatively small, pretty deep, river run, rocky lake. There are a good number of largeheads in the lake but mostly know for the big spots. Mid-Feb the fish will be starting to group up before heading in to spawn. It sounds obvious but its really as simple as hitting as many rocky points on main lake and coves until you find a group of fish. Be sure and check retaining walls too as those big spots love them. Most folks fish shakey heads, finesse jigs, and other typical spot lures and do well. Also heard of good sacks on the A-rig this winter. Keep in mind you are headed into prime tournament time and that lake gets packed on Saturday so avoid if you can. Youll be a little early for the spawn so it should not be too crowded. Jordan, like most river lakes, can be screwy and can change day to day but is more predicatable that time of year as long as it is not high and blown out. Hope that helps a little.
