My Trailer Needs Paint!

Ive got several areas on my trailer that are rusting due to rock chips, etc so I would like to get the trailer touched up. Id consider having it repainted entirely, but Im not sure how expensive that might be. Can anyone recommend a business in the Houston Texas area (or surrounding 100 miles) who can do this kind of work? Does BCB repaint trailers? Thanks! Jim

I gave McLain Trailers a call, but they dont do any sort of paint work. Any other ideas around Houston? Thanks!

CC III I think I would call some paint shops around the Houston area and see it they do any trailer painting. You might give Danny Miller @ Northwest Fiberglass in Tomball a call and see who he would recomend. 281-290-0000 Thats all my suggestions…. GeorgeGeorge

I have a 1992 Pantera II and my trailer needs help. I have talked to a local trailer repair shop, and I was not satisfied with some of the info. I recieved. I would like more info on getting you guys to redo the trailer(paint and brakes). I am not sure if it would be worth it or not just to get a new trailer. Any info would be helpful.

Trailers are a tough thing on a repaint. They are time consuming and require handling equipment. The blasting and repainting is hard, and the striping most are not set up to handle. The stripping down and reassembly is not that tough, though the hours mount and it is hard to find it reasonably done. Today it becomes more difficult. Sometimes you can find a small do it your self shop which needs the income and is reasonable. Though usually they can pick up a body job for more return and less time. Recarpeting bunks is another topic. Trailers are just a costly refurb item. BCB
