The hiccup is where we place the mounts in a more parallel position to the water, so that the trolling motor shaft is at 90 degrees or so. Most dont worry about shaft angles, and those consequently pick up more grass and ventilate more than do BCB trolling mounts. The trollers all have the wrong angles designed into the shafts, as they tuck back under the bow, and we are trying to correct this, by altering the bow mount angles. This is what causes the clearance issue under the stowed trolling motors. Just an explanation. BCB
