Congrads on an awesome Classic, Champion would be nice but we all know Reese can swing a big stick. Great for Ike and BCB!!DESERTDWELLER.COM “GET YOUR BASS IN THE BOAT”
Congrats IKE and of course to Skeet for a heck of a finish!
Ike is a freak but Damn he can catch em. Congrats on a great tournament!! Glynn
Had to work 12 hours yesterday but kept getting updates throughout the day. Watched the espn show last night. FINALLY, they did right on Ike and really gave him some spotlight! I told my brother yesterday morning I thought Skeet might win but to watch out for Ike…. He brought some thunder and lightning to the stage for sure. Like his enthusiasm or not (and Skeet did his fair amount of screaming/dancing/lying down too) Mike Iaconelli can flat out fish! Congrats to both anglers…a great show!96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
Ike has PASSION and he cant stand to be around water and not fish it. Mike Iaconelli is a person you would love to hang out with. They almost multiple personalities. Though they are one in the same. He brought his A game and it was turned on. It just fell short by 10 ounces. BCB
I for one would love to just sit in back of his boat and watch. The recent “City Limits Fishing” here in Little Rock showed many of the areas I fish. My wife watched the show with me and when I kept saying “Thats where I fish”, she retorted “How come he can fish there and catch those fish and ….”. I told her that this guy is on a different level! I am proud that BCB got him as one of their pros. The entire BCB team is a major force to be reckoned with. I share Mikes passion…I just dont move as fast!96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
Back when BASS still had the Bassmaster University I attended one and he was one of the featured pros , I had the pleasure of skipping lunch and talking to him for almost a hr . You could just hear it in his voice ..the excitement and passion that he has for this sport . I have been to several weigh ins and watched him stand there for a hr or two afterwards talking to ppl and expecially the kids , yes he has had some moments in the past . I think we all have at some time or another . He is a great Ambassador for the sport and combined with the passion that BCB has for this sport , and there dedication to building the best boats and customer support for the Family ! what more could you ask for what a combination !!! with the current pro anglers that BCB has in place we are going to have a great yr !Last edited by pumaverado275 on February 23rd, 2009, 3:45 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Ike was a class act on the stage at the final-day weigh-in at the Classic! Lots of drama and down to the wire, but Ike was vocally supportive of his fellow anglers, regardless of the outcome.
The Classic was awesome and it was great to see it come right down to the end, a true nail biter… Ike was a Class Act, disappointing sure, but he NEVER GAVE UP!! Now its time to start concentrating on the year ahead of him, givem hell Ike!!!
